"This house itself is beautiful. June has taken great care of this amazing house and also has taken great care to make sure her guests feel welcome and have everything they could possibly want - it is better than a 5 star hotel. Very clean and very very comfortable. We stayed here for 4 nights and it was not near enough time - we cant wait to return. So you have this amazing home and then you add the beautiful garden and beyond that you have the promenade that will take you to the golf course or into town. My husband even took out one of the bikes that June had there and rode on the promenade. Beyond the promenade is the beach and ocean - wow.
So relaxing and so comfortable. On top of the great house, the garden, the promenade and the beach you then add The Troon golf course in walking distance from the house - I cannot think of anything else that you could possibly want or need. Anyone looking for an amazing place to stay - this is it. Both June and John stopped in to see if we needed anything and they were both so welcoming. Booking was super easy and June was great about responding so quickly. This is a gem and we appreciate June and John sharing it with us. This will be THE place to stay for the Open next year in 2016."
