The lovely town of Troon is a short 5 minute walk from the property with its very interesting local shops, excellent restaurants & coffee shops, and marina.
The train station is a short 2 minute drive and there are regular trains to Glasgow which takes 35 minutes approx. Glasgow Prestwick Airport is only 7 minutes by taxi.
The house is within a few minutes walk of Royal Troon Golf Course being the nearest building to the 1st tee on the sea side. The local municipal golf courses are nearby too. Local tennis courts, the bowling green, local swimming pools, and leisure club are all also within a few minutes walk.
The Isle of Arran, Culzean Castle, Dundonald Castle, Robert Burns Country and the famous Burns Cottage, The Great Cumbrae (Millport) and Dean Castle County Parks are just a few of the many interesting places to visit for a lovely family day out.
